Thrift TV.

British fashionista, Alexa Chung, is returning to television this summer on a show titled Thrift America.

Thrift America is scheduled to air on PBS and will follow Alexa Chung and Maya Singer (the series creator and editor of special projects for Style.com) around the United States and Europe as they shop for vintage finds at consignment shops, garage sales and flea markets. A few of the places they plan to visit include Orlando, Detroit, Nashville, Alabama and Brooklyn.

According to the New York Times, “In the first episode, Ms. Chung helps Pamela Love, a gothic jewelry designer, create a pop-up shop in London during Fashion Week.”

Sounds pretty interesting to me! Alexa Chung has certainly proven she knows how to mix vintage with designer so I’m excited to see her process.
